JP's Flower Chain for Monica

In the days after losing someone we love, flowers arrive everywhere. They are beautiful reminders of how many people care. But eventually those flowers begin to fade, even while our love and remembrance remain.

As the flowers surrounding Monica have begun to wilt, she gently shared that she would love a few fresh blooms for JP’s viewing on Wednesday. It was such a simple thought, but it brought to mind something we often forget about grief: so much love arrives in the beginning, while the need to feel surrounded by that love continues long after.

So we thought, what if the flowers didn’t all come at once?

We would love to create a flower chain for Monica, with friends and loved ones choosing different days to send or personally deliver a few fresh blooms in the weeks and months ahead.

Our hope is that every few days, something beautiful arrives at her door. A small reminder that JP is still being remembered, that his life continues to touch the people who loved him, and that Monica is not walking through this season alone.
